Emily Sherman '10, started her new job with SeraCare Life Sciences the Monday before she graduated. There, she interfaced with medical labs and blood banks to get samples she then uses to test new drugs and vaccines. It's a job that perfectly blends her majors in microbiology and marketing, and it's just the kind of interdisciplinary work URI professors like to inspire.
